THE HOUSE

Primrose Cottage is a 200-year-old traditional, granite-built Cornish house. The main house was originally built for the Mine Captain of the nearby Ding Dong tin mine, one of the most important in 18th and 19th century Cornwall.

Recently we have added a large modern kitchen, new bathrooms and a purpose-built pottery studio overlooking the garden. All our bedrooms are very comfortable, with fresh crisply laundered linens and antique furniture (click picture opposite for more photos). We have three double bedrooms, one twin room and one single, as well as a self-contained log cabin (details here) overlooking the garden. We would be pleased to accommodate your partner or spouse (at a reduced price) whether or not they want to join the course.

THE GARDEN

The house faces south over a lovely, secluded three-acre garden, which is a haven for birds and other wildlife.
